How physiotherapy can help after a road accident

After a car or motorbike accident, many people feel stiffness or pain in the neck, back or shoulders, sometimes days later. A physiotherapist can assess how you’re moving and suggest treatment and exercises suited to you. Everyone is different, so treatment depends on your assessment.

If you’re badly hurt or worried about your symptoms, get medical advice first: call 999 in an emergency, NHS 24 on 111, or see your GP.
